February meeting topic

Finding out you are expecting a little one is usually a joyous event.  Then in the days that follow reality sets in and you go about the work of finding professionals to support and care for you throughout pregnancy and birth. 

So how do you go about finding professionals, let alone the right one for your birth?  What works for your sister or your best friend may or may not work for you, so it is best to set up some interviews to try to get to know a potential provider before making any decisions.  Once you have those appointments set, you'll probably be racking your brain trying to come up with a list of questions to ask.

At our next meeting on February 10th we are going to help you learn how to interview providers and give you tips on how to ask questions so you can get the most revealing answers and fewer if any surprises come birth day!
